Ingredients

  • ½ frozen banana (peel left on)
  • 1 3.5 oz packet frozen no-sugar-added açaí or pitaya
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (almond, rice, coconut, soy, or hemp)
  • ½ tsp raw coconut oil
  • 1 cup plain coconut yogurt
  • ½ tsp spirulina powder
  • ½ teaspoon raw honey

Optional Toppings

  • Banana slices
  • Fresh berries
  • Coconut flakes
  • Hulled sunflower seeds or raw hemp hearts
  • Maca powder
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  • In a food processor or blender, combine the frozen banana, açaí (or pitaya), flaxseed, non-dairy milk, and coconut oil. Blend on medium to high speed for 15 to 30 seconds, until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a bowl and add the coconut yogurt, spirulina powder, and raw honey. Stir until everything is fully combined and smooth.
  • Top your Buddha bowl with your favorite toppings.
